Impression powder is used to create the mould around the foot/hand & is completely safe to use on the skin.  All our bags of impression powder are labelled with mixing instructions as well as health & safety data for peace of mind.l

This 600g bag is foil sealed & if kept in an airtight container will keep for at least 12 months after the bag has been opened.  The set time at 23°C is 2mins 45secs - this will vary dependant on the temperature of the water used & how warm the limb is.  Higher temperatures will speed up the setting process by 5 secs for every 2°C & vice versa for cooler temperatures.  Our impression powder is not a colour changing alginate.

A 600g bag will provide enough impression powder to create up to 8 moulds for a baby under 1 year, 2-3 of an older child/adult.  Please note these numbers are approximate & depend on the size of the baby/childs limb.
